[UrJTAG-dev] UrJTAG does not accept FTDI programmer

Hi,

I plan to use the OpenOCD programmer from http://shop.embedded-projects.net/index.php?module=artikel&action=artikel&id=14 to program a Altera MAX II CPLD. The programmer uses an FTDI chip, therefore I tried with command

cable FT2232

to select the cable. Unfortunately this fails:

error: Couldn't connect to suitable USB device.
error: ftdi/ftd2xx error: ftdi_usb_open_desc() failed: device not found

I get the same result when compiling latest UrJTAG version from GIT.

Any ideas what is wrong here?
